[TRANSCRIPT] If you really want to be successful, you have to touch home. You have to pay attention to the people who are right there in front of
you. You have to love your work AND love your family equally. How do you have great satisfaction in both, without sacrificing one for the other? I love my career and try to work at my productive best. I’m always asking myself how can I execute, how can I leverage my time, and how can I focus on tasks that are central to my work and get rid of the extraneous things. How can I be disciplined, not procrastinate, focus on things in order of importance, or set boundaries with other people? By being
productive in this way, I achieve the greatest results possible in the least amount of time. THEN I can get out of the office on time and go home to the people I love. Have time to volunteer. Take care of myself. This is the essence of productivity. Productivity is about life balance, and efficiency is about love. In this video, I talk about the real reason behind productivity.
In this innovative program, Stack discusses how her L-E-A-D Strategy™ helps leaders quickly drive strategic initiatives and get great results from their teams. The pressures on an organization to move quickly mirror the pressures individuals face on a personal level. Organizations will create better results if leaders can create agile cultures, full of strategic thinkers.
On November 2, 2016, Laura Stack is presenting a half-day intensive open-enrollment workshop in Parker, CO, so here’s your chance to hear her latest thinking—even if you have to fly to Denver for the event! It will be another couple years before this opportunity is available again.
